Mountain Springs Fuel Reduction Burn

Once the test burn is successful the piles are lit one at a time.

CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA - May 10th, 2008, Fire crews burned piles near Mountain Springs in Clark County, Nevada. The pile burn took place near the old Supper Club site off of Highway 160. The material that was burned was part of a fuels reduction project designed to reduce the threat of a wildland fire in the community.
